Any patient can ask the support team to set up a video visit with a provider. You can make your request through the chat in the SkinnyRx app.
Request a consultation
- Open the chat in your SkinnyRx app. See Where is the chat in my app?.
- Tell the support team that you want a video visit with a provider.
- The support team will help book an available time or send you an invitation so you can choose a time.
- Once your visit is booked, you will receive a confirmation by email and text message.
Available times depend on provider availability and whether the provider is licensed in your state. You do not choose a specific provider.

Your provider makes all clinical decisions. Completing a video visit does not automatically approve a prescription.
