The Wegovy Pill is an FDA-approved, once-daily semaglutide tablet for chronic weight management. It is currently unavailable for an initial purchase through SkinnyRx.
What it is
The Wegovy Pill contains semaglutide, the same active ingredient used in the Wegovy injection pen. It may be prescribed to adults with obesity, or adults with overweight and a weight-related condition.
Semaglutide works through the GLP-1 hormone pathway. It may reduce appetite, calm cravings, slow digestion, and help you feel full longer. Results vary from person to person.
The pill is part of SkinnyRx's branded medication program. A licensed provider must review your health information and decide if it is clinically appropriate. The medication is billed and shipped separately from the SkinnyRx membership. Learn more at What is the SkinnyRx Membership for branded medications?.
